    Hi guys; raccoons they never cease to amaze me with their strength, universality and persistence. They are ubiquitous!! Hope you are able to sleep in a real bed soon. You must be looking forward to getting to the “bay area” – lots of hospitable places to stay there! We are really enjoying your adventures and are living them vicariously through you. Keep pedalling,

    I also heard about your journey on CBC Radio. Heard the interview a few days ago.
    Colour me green (with envy).
    We wintered in Baja a few years, until last March.
    Had a beautiful beach house in Bahia Concepcion until March, 2008.
    Have a few contacts for you, and other tips.
    Will post as my time permits.
    Would love to be with you folks.

    So fun to follow the map. Mer do you remember all the racoons on our back deck one night? 11 I think! They used to try to come in through the cat door. I respect racoons.
